A limited-time pop-up in Tokyo's famous cherry blossom district of Nakameguro will bring together the entire lineup of "Traveling Magnets," a unique series of locally themed souvenirs created across Japan.

Held from March 26th to April 7th, the Traveling Magnets SAKURA POPUP will celebrate the completion of the project's nationwide collection, which now spans all 47 prefectures. For the first time, visitors will be able to see designs representing every region of Japan in one place.

Traveling Magnets are locally exclusive souvenirs inspired by regional culture, landmarks, and traditions. Each design is illustrated by a creator connected to the area it represents, highlighting the unique charm of places across the country, from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Because the magnets are usually sold only in the regions they depict, travelers normally have to visit each location to collect them.

At the Nakameguro pop-up, however, a total of 242 magnet designs will be gathered together under one roof (with a few limited editions excluded). The event also features an advance release of a new design inspired by the nearby Meguro River cherry blossoms, illustrated by Tokyo artist Shinji Tsuchimochi.

Beyond shopping, the event introduces the story behind the Traveling Magnet project through an exhibition of works by 49 local creators involved in the series. Visitors can also see Spanish tiles created from the original illustrations, which inspired the magnet designs.

The event venue is located along the Meguro River (one of Tokyo's most famous cherry blossom spots), making it an easy stop while enjoying springtime hanami in the area.

Traveling Magnets are priced at 700 JPY each and are available through cashless payment only.
