Rinko Park (臨港パーク) is a large green space on the eastern side of Minato Mirai, along the shore of Yokohama Bay and overlooking the Port of Yokohama area. The park is home to seasonal flowers and works of art dotted around the park grounds. Alongside its wide, spacious lawn area, Rinko Park offers commanding views of the waterfront. Visitors can also explore the Shiori-no-Ike Pond, the Seaside Promenade and the Arch Bridge too.
Designed by South Korean artist, Choi Jeong Hwa, this sculpture has been on display since 2001, where it was launched as part of the Yokohama Triennale.
Designed by sculptor, Yutaka Toyota, this spanning steel bridge represents the friendship between Japan and Brazil that has lasted over 100 years. A similar one can be found in Sao Paolo facing the direction of Yokohama.

Yokohama Hammerhead is a multi-function complex that includes a mall, hotel and cruise pier. The facility is a short walk from Bashamichi Station near Minato Mirai. The core function of Yokohama Hammerhead is to serve as an international cruise terminal. The cruise terminal at Shinko Pier can accommodate cruise ships up to 116,000 tons. The CIQ hall (customs, immigration and quarantine) can even be used as an event and exhibition hall. In addition to the pier and the CIQ hall, Yokohama Hammerhead is also home to the InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8.
