The Yokohama Museum of Art was founded in 1989 and is one of the largest museums in Japan. The facility contains a total of seven galleries: 3 for permanent exhibitions, 3 for special exhibitions and 1 for photography.

Yokohama Museum of Art is made up of a total of seven gallery spaces, as well as an Art Information and Media Center and many other facilities.
Yokohama Art Museum is hosting an exhibition until Oct 2015 by artist Cai Guo-Qiang, an artist born in China who demonstrates great technical ability and understanding within his art work.

Yokohama Landmark Tower, located in the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama, is the second tallest building in Japan! Yokohama Cosmo World is an amusement park in the center of the Minato Mirai district, which also includes the ferris wheel that characterizes the skyline of the area World, and it still holds the record as the world's largest ferris wheel with a clock. Rinko Park (臨港パーク) is a large green space on the eastern side of Minato Mirai, along the shore of Yokohama Bay and overlooking the Port of Yokohama area. The park is home to seasonal flowers and works of art dotted around the park grounds. Alongside its wide, spacious lawn area, Rinko Park offers commanding views of the waterfront. Visitors can also explore the Shiori-no-Ike Pond, the Seaside Promenade and the Arch Bridge too.
