The Monkey Park and Wild Plant Garden at Mt. Takao are often overlooked by hikers. The Wild Plant Garden is especially lesser known, making it a great escape from the crowds. The monkeys are a nice experience for children, but for the older crowd a walk in the garden is a relaxing treat, with several locations perfect for a secluded picnic.
