天龍寺の枝垂桜は、繊細で気品がある。それはまるで、桃色の貴石を連ねた数千のネックレスがゆれ、青い空の下で煌めいているかのようだ。花の下を歩けば、そよ風にもてあそばれる小枝から、桜の雨が降る。「ああ、綺麗！」対称的に、紅葉の頃の天龍寺には力強い美しさがある。春と秋、同じアングルの写真を見ると、それぞれに美しい二つの季節の違いを味わうことができる（秋の写真はこちら）。
