The Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions is organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the TOP Museum (operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture), and Nikkei Inc., with support from J-WAVE 81.3 FM and sponsorship by the Corporate Membership of TOP.
For 2026, the festival runs from Friday, February 6 to Monday, February 23, 2026—with February 9 and 16 as scheduled museum holidays (closed days). Most venues around Ebisu, such as the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum and outdoor spaces in 恵比寿ガーデンプレイス, host exhibitions, screenings, talks, performances, and community programs during the event. Entry to many exhibitions is free, while some specialized screenings or events may require paid tickets.
The festival’s theme this year centers on multivocal perspectives and sensory experiences, exploring how visual culture intersects with sound, performance, and social memory. The program includes curated exhibitions, artist talks, interactive works, and commissioned projects that invite reflection on media and society.
